My great white shark head cufflinks are cast in solid white bronze with a maintenance free sterling silver plated overlay. The 3D solid cast (not hollow back) open mouth sharks measure 1/2" in all directions. Each cufflink (push through style) is cast in one solid piece of metal. There are no swivels to come apart or solder joints to fail, so an accidental trip through the washing machine will cause no damage.
